The Owl’s Atlas

In The Owl’s Atlas: Exploring the United States, scholars soar across the diverse landscapes, regions, and cultures that shape our nation. From coastal plains to mountain ranges, from rural towns to bustling cities, students will study how geography, environment, and movement have influenced American life over time. Special attention is given to the role of African American communities and other historically marginalized voices in shaping the U.S. map physically, culturally, and politically. With maps in hand and questions in mind, scholars will learn to see the United States not just as a place, but as a layered story of people and land.

Soaring over the states with a story and a map in every flight.
