    Flight Log: APA Yearbook Lab

    Flight Log: APA Yearbook Lab is a student-led media and design course where scholars collaborate to create the official Alexander Preparatory Academy yearbook while taking on real publication roles such as editors, designers, photographers, and archivists. Throughout the course, they plan the yearbook content, organize photos and materials, design page layouts, write captions and short stories, and work together as a production team to bring the final book to life. Along the way, scholars build practical skills in digital design, teamwork, organization, and project management while documenting the memories, achievements, and experiences of the APA community. By the end of the lab, the team produces a complete yearbook that captures the spirit, growth, and legacy of the school year.

    History Rewind

    Take a deep dive into the defining moments of U.S. history rewound, reexamined, and retold. In this course, scholars will explore the people, events, and movements that shaped the United States, from early Indigenous civilizations and colonial beginnings to the Civil Rights Movement and modern-day struggles for justice.
